Åhus Vattenharmoni AB is a private company that offers baby swimming and swimming school activities in Kristianstad and Furuboda. We work with children from 3 months to 6 years old and have about 300 children swimming with us every week.

You will follow the child on their journey from beginner to swimming like a fish, both above and below the surface. The teaching is based on experiences and joy in the water as we practice various water familiarization exercises and swimming. From the age of 3, we have new themes each time (including circus, Astrid Lindgren, pirates, and puzzles) while the exercises remain the same or similar. This allows the children to recognize themselves while the experiences are exciting every time. The swimming styles we practice are backstroke, freestyle, lifesaving backstroke, and breaststroke. We adapt exercises and swimming styles to the child's level. Other exercises such as jumping in and turning back, floating, gliding, and diving for toys are also included. Throughout all courses, safety in and around water is important.

We are located at Kristianstads Badrike. It is a beautiful place, and we are part of the large, wonderful operation at the pool.

The position involves one or two shifts on weekends with immediate start. You will work together with a colleague.

You will work as a swimming instructor with children aged 2-6 years. The child has their parent in the water, so you will teach both the child and their parent, both individually and in groups.

We expect you to be engaged, positive, and have a knack for communicating with children and parents. You must be clear, attentive, and flexible in your leadership role. Educational training and/or experience working with children is a merit. It is beneficial if you are a trained swimming instructor or have trained in swimming yourself.
